• Innovation Hour
Sessions with invited partners to tackle authentic, relevant problems
• Fellowship Event
Social events that are donated or gifted to support the reward arm of iFF (e.g. sporting, fundraisers, dinners, formals, exhibits, mixers, etc.)
• inspirED Sessions
Learning sessions in collaboration with District Partners to deeply develop agents of change around key NEA Teacher Leader Competencies and district initiatives
• Principal Luncheon
A yearly gathering of targeted principals to provide program information, calendar, feedback, and commitments
• Swag Drop
Scheduled events at targeted schools to provide presence, information, and application information
• Passion Projects
Passion Projects are innovative and unique projects that teachers will implement in their classrooms. Teachers may complete Passion Projects as a small group, in pairs, or individually. The goal of the project is to add to the body of research and knowledge on a specific instructional practice, uncover scalable creative solutions to current educational challenges, position teachers to be leaders, and provide exciting differentiated professional development that grows teacher competencies.
• Passion Project Huddle
A virtual or face-to-face check-in meeting where Fellows can bounce ideas off of each other, Partners, Donors, or Sponsors
• Innovation Incubator Showcase
A showcase of innovative ideas crafted and developed by teachers. Principals, Office of Innovation, Donors, and District staff will be invited to provide a SWOT analysis of ideas developed and refined between February and July. Donors will be invited to consider the opportunities and support that can be offered.
• Symposium/Town Hall
An energized panel session of selected Fellows, Partners, Donors, and invited guests around current challenges in education. These sessions are designed to be a catalyst for problem-solving, opportunities to network, and to get a glimpse into Fellows Passion Projects.
