What if we inspirED teachers to…ACT?
What if inspirED motivated teachers to put into action creative and unique instruction that sparked the minds of students?
The overarching goal of the inspirED program is to motivate teachers with the urge to act! To launch new and creative instructional ideas, try a unique approach, or utilize innovative practices; time, materials, and opportunity are needed. However, more than anything, particularly today, teachers need to be inspirED!
inspirED seeks to partner with businesses, organizations, and individuals that understand the immense impact teachers have on students. It is through exposing teachers to new learning opportunities within various fields that we can inspire teachers to act. Through inspirED, we work to connect teachers with industry partners, organizations, and individuals who expand teachers’ creativity to develop lessons, programs, and experiences for students in the classroom.
What if we inspirED teachers to…INNOVATE?
What if inspirED and YOU partnered together to create spaces for incubating innovations that can directly impact a child’s trajectory and future? What if those opportunities to work, think, and create solutions knee-to-knee with a teacher inspire a class or grade level of the next great inventors?
The Future of Skills: Employment in 2030 identified a set of skills (below) skills needed for future jobs. Teachers and students need opportunities to practice and engage in these skills to prepare for the future workforce.
What if we inspirED teachers to…INFLUENCE their school & community?
A teacher affects eternity, he/she can never tell where his/her influence stops. Influence has a way of impacting people through direct and indirect factors. It is our belief that inspirED Foundation Fellows will be influenced by the partners who support them as well as the partners being influenced by the teachers who provide insight and perspective into today’s classroom. The goal of influence is reciprocated and advantages to both parties engaged with inspirED.
We also believe that the inspirED program will influence other teachers to consider innovative ideas in their classroom that will ultimately impact more students.
“We need a variety of input and influence and voices. You cannot get all the answers to life and business from one person or from one source.”
